Coco Rose Love Cups

Since coming back from my recent trip to Morocco I’ve been obsessed with rosewater after visiting Kalaat M’gouna, a town of roses. I’ve been using rosewater as a skin toner and perfume, it smells divine and gives a natural glow to the skin and promotes beauty. Rosewater contains many healing properties and may also be consumed, so here I have created a raw and vegan chocolate recipe with rosewater. These Love Cups will heal the heart, bringing positive energy and love to you.



Makes 12 Cups


For The Base Layer:

200g Cashews (soaked for 2-4 hours)

2 Tbsp Coconut Oil

1 Packet of Coconut Cream – This is the one I use without guar gum and additives

60g  Cacao Butter

3 Tbsp Organic Canadian Maple Syrup

For Top Layer:

4 Tbsp Coconut Oil

2 Tbsp Raw Cacao 

1 Tsp Rosewater

3 Tbsp Organic Canadian Maple Syrup

Dried Rose Petals (I just dried a bunch I had bought over a few weeks but this is just for decoration)


Food Blender

Glass Plate of Bowl



Blend all of the ingredients for the base and place in the cupcake holders, add a little water if it is too thick it needs to be a paste like consistency.

Place in the freezer for 1 hour

Boil some water in a saucepan and place the glass plate/bowl on top

Add the Coconut Oil and let the water simmer, as it starts to melt add the Raw Cacao, Maple Syrup and Rosewater

Take the cups from the freezer and pour the chocolate mixture evenly into each cup

Freeze for a further 10-15 minutes

Remove from the freezer and then slowly peel off the cupcake holders, voila you have pretty Coco Rose Love Cups!
